Great value for the price. Specs are almost comparable to the new 2021 Motorola 5G not including the 5G and AC Wi-Fi got this phone does not have. This phone is still on 2 GB a/g Wi-Fi but the hardware is great and my range is about three times farther from my house into the yard compared to my old phone. AC Wi-Fi will get you the faster data rates but not farther range from your router. Bluetooth is version 5 and using my wireless earbuds I’ve got a very long distance that I can walk away from my phone and still hear clearly. Camera works quite well with the quad pixel technology to merge four pixels into one for non blurry photos that are not incredibly massive in file size. The night vision mode that is referenced is just a high sensitivity light sensor which enables pictures in extremely low light at night but they are very grainy- that being said I can see more on those so-called night vision photos than I could with my own eyes. Android 10 is an amazing upgrade compared to Android 7 I had on my previous phone but that’s not unique to this phone. Specific to the motarollas I really like the gestures such as the double shack to turn on the flashlight or the double wrist twist open up the camera from lock screen. The dedicated Google Assistant button is also really nice because even with a lock screen you can press the button and have the phone to change volumes or skip a track etc without needing to unlock the screen. Fingerprint reader is very fast and responsive the only issue with it is the central location on the back means that with a sturdy phone case on the sensor is down inside a pretty deep hole so you kind of have to reach to get your finger on the sensor and it’s only the tip of your finger. I first set up fingerprint reader without the case on and then was having trouble after the case was on because I was getting a different part of the finger on the sensor so I deleted the fingerprint settings and redid with the case on and now it works fine every time. Phone unlocking by face ID works quickly if you are in bright light but as soon as you are in a slightly dark room it does not work but it is just as quick or quicker to get your finger into the fingerprint reader. Speaker is surprisingly loud and good quality and the screen has really good colors for watching TV, however it is only a single speaker so you don’t get the surround sound type feel. Battery life is also really good and can go all day with heavy use or a couple days with lighter use. Cell connection is working fine with no complaints on consumer Cellular using the AT&t network.

This phone is one of the best phones I have used in years. For the longest time I was a Samsung snob (Galaxy S4 -S9). I decided to give this phone a try. It is just as good if not better than the Galaxy line. I love the 6.5″ display, and running stock Android is just a dream. This is a phone worth checking out. Flagship features for an entry to mid-level price
