Description
As if 2020 weren’t bad enough already, Apple has started shipping its iPhones without chargers. There was an attempt for this change to be passed as an eco-friendly gesture, but Apple and its investors are the biggest winners from this controversial move, as anyone can easily guess. And even worse, other manufacturers may follow suit.
To make this possible, Apple slowly laid the foundation in recent years by adopting a more or less universal charging protocol for its products – USB Power Delivery. All current iPhones and MacBooks can be charged with any USB-PD charger you may have at home. And if you don’t have one, Apple would gladly sell you one. But this all bodes the question – is Apple’s charger better in some way than the alternatives already available in the market. USB Power Delivery is hardly new, and there are many compatible options – even if they are not meant for iPhones specifically.
So if you are getting a new iPhone this season – you are bound to ask yourself the smart question – what charger do I get for my new iPhone? Well, we’re here to shed some light on that.

So Apple… Why can you not just include a fast charger in your box when you purchase a phone? What is so difficult about that? Well you’re luck because this exists. Have an apple phone and want some fast charging? This will do it. My wife has the iPhone 8. Ten percent to 80 percent in literally 30 minutes, and I’m not exaggerating that. My daughter’s XR charges just as fast too. So why buy this one over something cheaper? Well that takes a little exaplaining.
Apple in their infinite wisdom wants you to remain in their ecosystem even when it comes to accessories. They love adding little things to make using aftermarket items harder for you to use on a consistent basis. Notice I said consistent and now works. A lot of products that sell for cheaper “work,” but for how long? How long until you get a notice that says “this is not a supported device and could harm the phone. Please use the charger provided to you…” Its annoying, and this is Apple giving you the finger. Buying the Apple speed charger is 50 bucks by itself plus an additional 25 for the fast charging cord. 75 bucks for speed charging!!! That is why you buy this instead. You spend a little more (about 25 bucks or so depending on sales) than the 10 dollar jobs, but you get your monies worth. It has the same chips required by Apple to keep your phone happy. No more messages saying that it is not supported hardware.
This is worth every penny. Buy this, be happy, and stop keeping your phone plugged in all night long. You’re harming your phone every time you do that

This power adapter is for USB-C cable (all iPhones up to the 11th model has a USB-A cable) and so, if you have an iPhone 8 or an iPhone xr, you need to buy a USB-C cable for this power adapter
