I’ve been using Huawei for years, but when I tried switching to this phone, I spent hours trying to find a way to connect with Cricket. My son said he liked the phone, and would purchase it, if it would work with Straight Talk. Again, another 2 hours on phone. These are both GSM carriers. What I found out, is you have to purchase an AT&T sim card, that can be added on Straight Talk. This way the phone doesn’t need registration. I also found out that the US tried to put a ban this phone, but could not because of rights we have. However, Google put a ban from using this brand. So, I don’t see any functions that can’t be used, Google even works, but it takes some getting around, to be able to use it. This is an amazing phone and if it works for you, you will love it. There are not any phones that will provide all these features for the money. The pictures are crisp and beautiful, bit most importantly for me, is how I can use the phone with thick gloves and it works super well. The storage capacity is also amazing. I’m so sad my son will be using this phone instead of me. I may ask him to switch. I am using the LG K92 soon on this line, it is supposed to be comparable, however I am nervous, because Huawei has treated me so well.
